Since its release in 2002, the LEGO Imperial Star Destroyer has been the focus of many attempts at building it faster and faster.   Holding the title as the largest LEGO set ever produced, the ISD and its 3,104 pieces has never been built faster than 1 hour.  In fact, until Halloween Weekend 2004, the World Record time was held by a German team of 10 builders at 1 hour and 2 minutes.  Saturday October 30th, 2004, I, along with 9 other members of the New England LEGO User's Group crushed all previous records with a new time of 54 minutes and 21 seconds.
