Comprised of about 100,000 individual LEGO bricks, the Mosaic of the Boston skyline hung on display at the 2002 New England Home Show at the World Trade Center in Boston, Massachusetts.  5 feet tall and 12 feet long, the piece represents the efforts of about 10 members of the New England LEGO User's Group.  My slice of the project made up about 1/10th of the effort and 10,000 LEGO bricks.  Most of them were assembled on my kitchen counter or in my bedroom in my Providence, RI apartment.  Excluding design time, the entire mosaic took about 160 man hours to complete.  The segmented remnants of the beautiful mosaic are currently boxed up and safely stored away until some future venue calls upon the mosaic's return.
