National Geographic celebrated its 3rd year as a cable channel in March of 2004 with an extravaganza quite like no other.  Complete with all the style and class of a true entertainment powerhouse, NG asked 4 members of NELUG to create a display highlighting the topic of their new program called "Mega Structures."  Due to the limited notice, much of our layout ended up borrowing from previous train displays.  However, the fun really came during the show when we were given 10,000 2x2 red and yellow bricks to use to build our own "Mega Structures." 

All of the creations above starting with the Coliseum were designed and built from scratch during the 4 hour show using only 2x2 red and yellow bricks with limited 2x4 yellow bricks mixed in.
